Mad Men Eyewear

Posted 4413 days ago from theopticalvisionsite.com

“Mad Men” airs on AMC April 7th. Prepare your couch and frame selections accordingly even if you are not a fan. I am an avid follower of the show and personally can’t wait.

Mad Men has received critical acclaim, particularly for its historical authenticity, visual style, costume design, acting, writing, and directing, and has won many awards, including fifteen Emmys and four Golden Globes. The show has has had a massive impact on the US cultural landscape and has crept into US malls, where fashionable clothes and shoes with a distinctively 1960s look are all the rage.

Mad Men Characters Harry Crane, Roger Sterling, Joan Harris and Betty Draper

Eyewear is a major part of the show’s styling and influences consumer trends and tastes which many smart optical companies recognize. Mad Men was the inspirations behind A&A Optical’s 2013 Alexander Collection photo shoot with model shots as well as fashion editorials using the styling and theme from Mad Men.

Here are some of our suggestions to capture the Mad Men Eyewear Style for Harry and Joan.
