ClearVision Optical Receives International Recognition for Marketing Excellence

The Optical Leader is Recognized for its Creative Expertise with Seventeen Prestigious MarCom Awards


Hauppauge, NY – November 2012 – ClearVision Optical, a leader in the eyewear industry, is the recipient of 17 awards in this year’s MarCom Awards, an international competition that awards outstanding creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. MarCom is the oldest, largest and most respected competition in the marketing industry.

ClearVision, received 4 prestigious Platinum Awards, MarCom’s top honor; 7 Gold Awards, and 6 Honorable Mentions for its outstanding creative efforts. For the first time, ClearVision won for its writing, social media, trade show display design and video development efforts. For the second year in a row, ClearVision was recognized for product launch marketing, specifically for Dilli Dalli, its new private label brand. Over 6,500 entries were submitted by nationally recognized companies such as Aflac, Toyota’s in house agency; Creative Productions, Methodologie for The Coca-Cola Company, United Healthcare, American Airlines, Aetna Customized Communications Group among others across the US and international. Judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, judges look for companies and individuals whose talents exceed a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

Winners were selected from over 200 categories in seven forms of media and communication efforts, including marketing, publications, marketing/promotion, public service/pro bono, creativity and electronic/interactive. Winners ranged in size from Fortune 500 companies to media conglomerates to individual communicators in US, Canada and several other countries.
